Get ready for a night filled with romance, humor, and zombies this November at NDP.

On Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., the first showing of NDP’s production "Not Your Average Zombie Apocalypse" by Richard Gremel will take place in the NDP cafeteria.

The other two showtimes are set for Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase either online or at the door. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

The playwright, Richard Gremel, will be in attendance at the Saturday matinee to see our actors' hard work and talk to the audience about his inspiration for the play and playwriting.

NDP Drama Instructor, Cecilia Henrich, says that the play rehearsals have been going “So well! Everyone is enjoying their roles and getting comfortable with the script,”

This will be Henrich's first production as a director at NDP. When she was hired over the summer, she was asked to pick a play quickly, and she could not find one she liked, but “Then I received an email from a random publishing company from whom I had never received an email before! It was a free script for a play about zombies,” Henrich said.

Henrich just so happens to love zombies and believes it “was a sign” that she received this email right when she needed to pick a fall show.
